A parking attendant was injured today in Kruja. According to reports, the attendant tried to stop a couple of tourists who were leaving without paying. Initially, they got into a conflict with the attendant of a private parking lot near the Kruja Castle.
It is further reported that the attendant attempted to block their path and then clung to the hood of the tourists’ vehicle. This did not stop the tourists, who drove off with the attendant on the hood for several dozen meters. Eventually, the attendant fell to the ground and was seriously injured.
The tourists, whose identities are still unknown, fled the scene. Police stopped a vehicle with Turkish tourists in the town of Fushë-Krujë, but it remains unclear whether they are connected to the incident. Security cameras from businesses in the area are being reviewed to clarify what happened.
The injured man, Bujar Dedja, was urgently transported to the Trauma Hospital and is currently unable to provide any statements.
